Welcome to the starciv.org web site. A civilisation existed - The Star Civilisation - in the relatively recent past; possibly within the last 600 years. The time we call 'The Dark Age' - or just before - destroyed much of it. And the world changed again, some 200 years ago, washing away or buryng more of it. It has been forgotten by us, or the memory of it has been suppressed. It spanned the world, linking all of the sentient species with one another - it was a truly staggeringly magnificent and beautiful world, in which the inhabitants created a breathtaking environment for all to live within. There is ample evidence left, even today - many parts of the system still exist, some incorrectly labelled as starforts. There are also many hundreds of thousands of miles of canals and striking field systems to be seen worldwide, along with many types of building that supported the entire system. Could this be possible? Could this be real? Take a look through this site and decide for yourself. This site is a work in progress and will be periodically updated with new content.
